    Wellbeing - Definition

    'A state of complete physical and mental health that is characterised by high- quality social relationships'. 

    This definition was agreed by the Department for Education's Expert Advisory Group on Education Staff Wellbeing.  Schools and colleges should use this working definition as a basis for discussing what wellbeing means for them, in their organisation.
